This intensive bootcamp is strategically divided over two full days to ensure a logical progression of learning, blending theoretical understanding with extensive practical application. All attendees will receive an additional 20 hours of video content for more detailed and ongoing training, as well as a Lifetime membership to the RICHPIX 360 Community, to keep you up to date with new technology and practices.
Day 1: Getting 360 Imagery Into Your Asset Management System (Practical Integration)
Day 1 Goal: By the end of Day 1, your team will master the practical skills of capturing high-quality 360 imagery, efficiently processing it, and correctly organising and integrating it into your existing asset management systems, ensuring accessibility and compliance.

- Identify and apply 360 imagery across key phases of the Asset Lifecycle Management (from pre-acquisition to digital twins).

- Evaluate 360's contribution to Critical Compliance & Safety Documentation (including Regulation 38 BSR, Martyn's Law).
- Embrace the core philosophy of Building a Visual History of Assets – Tracking Change Over Time (for remodels, dilapidation, structural changes).

- Implement strategies for Getting Location Data in GNSS-deprived (Indoor) Areas using Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) and AprilTags for precise spatial referencing.
- Make informed decisions by choosing the Right Capture Mode (360 Static Images vs. 360 Video).
- Boost Field Efficiency by Integrating Voice Notes & Dictation with Time-stamping.
- Apply On-Site Execution Best Practices (lighting, placement, battery saving, minimising obstructions).
- Solve common field challenges with The Power of a Pocketful of Door Wedges (levelling, stabilising, managing access, e.g., propping doors in a prison corridor where hiding is not an option).
E. Q&A and Initial Hands-on Camera Familiarisation
- You'll gain Practical experience with cameras, immediate troubleshooting skills, confidence in handling initial capture challenges, and a firsthand understanding of dictation apps and field tips and applications.

- Develop and implement a Robust File Naming Convention & Namespace Adherence.
- Design an Effective Folder Structure for logical organisation.
- Leverage Metadata for "No-Open" Tagging and Positioning (using Lightroom's Map Module).
- Implement Strategic Keyword Tagging, aligning with COBie.
- Integrate with COBie and Asset Information Models (AIMs).
- Implement Version Control strategies for tracking asset evolution.
H. Sharing & Delivering Immersive Asset Views to Your Systems & Stakeholders
- You'll learn to:
- Facilitate seamless nternal sharing and collaboration with secure cloud solutions and direct system integration.
- Control the External Sharing of immersive visual data.
- Balance formats and compression for optimal analysis and distribution.

Day 2: Advanced 360 Concepts & Strategic Application – How Do We Do It Well?
Day 2 Goal: By the end of Day 2, you'll delve into the most sophisticated applications of 360 imagery, mastering advanced data processing techniques, understanding critical legal frameworks, and leveraging immersive data for high-precision asset management, digital twin development, and regulatory compliance.

- You will gain a mastery of: The fundamental process of photogrammetry for precise 3D models and point clouds; how it determines Accurate Camera Poses (XYZ, Pitch, Yaw, Roll); the critical role of RTK/PPK GNSS for centimeter-level accuracy; and why this precision matters ("Who Cares?") for "As-Built" Documentation, Accurate Change Detection, Clash Detection (recognising the key benefit of Laser Scanning (LiDAR) and SLAM systems for these tasks), Forensic Analysis, and Robotics.
- Workflow considerations for optimising 360 capture for photogrammetry.
- Image-Based Lighting (IBL) for Realistic Visualisation & Simulation
- You will understand: What IBL is, the importance of HDRI, and how to apply IBL for virtual prototyping and enhancing digital twin realism.
- Specialised Module: Inspection and Heritage Documentation & Conservation
- You will learn to apply 360 imaging for inspection, heritage documentation (including archiving, condition monitoring, restoration planning, and virtual access), as well as HBIM.
- Practical Battery and Data Management & Power Solutions for Extended Shoots
- You will learn and apply Strategies for extending fieldwork duration using spare batteries, portable power banks, and AC adapters while managing camera overheating.
